Seeds of Destruction

I got exposed to pornography when I was about 10 years old.  I found it in back of the mobile home park I lived in with my father and two brothers. I was playing with friends and decided to explore the new found territory, as every ten-year-old does, and decided to go behind the laundry mat and between two walls. One of the walls sectioned of a parking lot that held many RV’s and another that sectioned off the 405 freeway. So I wandered about that little space between the walls, and found the first pornographic magazine I had ever seen. I did not think much of it until I actually started looking at it. That is when I was first hooked onto pornography. Satan had used my “exploration” of the new found territory to entice my flesh and was very successful. My life would not be the same.

After viewing that I had never thought that Satan would use that to destroy my life and the lives of those around me. After all, I never really new that there was a satan and that he wanted my life, my soul, and that he wanted so much to destroy everything that God had planned for me.

A seed was planted that very moment. The very instance that I looked upon that smut magazine, a seed of destruction had been sewn into my heart and that is where it all started. When a boy/young man views a magazine, his mind retains those images for a very long time. Think of our eyes as a camera. Every time we look at something, for instance a movie, our eyes act as frames. A frame, in director lingo, is a single picture of something that the camera, our eyes, has shot. When you put these frames together you get the term “moving picture,” because in all reality, a movie is many pictures moving at a high speed taken within a few milli-seconds of each other. The same applies with our eyes. Our eyes capture everything we see, every second, and then is stored on a hard drive, our brain, only to pop its ugly head out and bite you in the back.

What is your view on the worlds biggest industry?
