Homosexuality

Now I know this is a very sensitive subject for most but it must be addressed. We as young adults must strive to do what is right, what is pure and expectable, holy and blameless before the Lord our Maker. We must want perfection in all aspects of our walk with Christ. This perfection, however, is not obtainable. We all fall and we all fail everyday, every week, and every month of our lives and there is no stopping it.  All of us struggle in one form or another and all are considered the same; poor, blind, wretched and naked. We are all the same in God’s eyes but we all struggle differently.

Homosexuality is plaguing our nation with perversion, causing our young people to think that it is ok for men to be with men and women with women. Romans 1:27 says “Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.”

We decipher that this scripture says homosexuality is wrong. 1) The scripture says “leaving the natural use of the woman.” We can see from that sentence that it is not natural for a man to be, in any way, attracted to a man and same with women. We see that it is, in fact, natural for a man to be with a woman.             We also see in the beginning of the Bible, in Genesis, that we are to “be fruitful and multiply.” In order for us to fulfill our duties as a man or a woman we must be fruitful and multiply because we are commanded to. God does not ask us if we want to be, but He says “be fruitful” so in doing so their must be a man and a woman.

Also in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 we see the list of those who will not inherit the kingdom of
God. The scripture says “do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” In the beginning of this scripture we are told something that is key; do not be deceived. This scripture clearly tells us not to be deceived when 3/4ths of our population are being seduced day in and day out into believing the lies of the enemy. Homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of
God. It also goes one step further and says effeminate. The word effeminate means
having traits, tastes, habits, etc., traditionally considered feminine, as softness. This means that any man that acts like a woman, dresses, looks or acts like a woman will not inherit the kingdom of God. Many men today are overly trendy wearing shirts that look like shirts of that of a woman but since our culture says its ok we do it. This is wrong however, our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever which means that He will still judge us according to the standards He has since the beginning of time. We are not to follow our culture to reach our culture…if I go to a foreign country where everyone is naked; I am not going to take my cloths off in order to reach them. That’s anti-scriptural; instead, I need to bring them the scripture in love and tell them “hey, you have your cloths off and you are not only causing everyone in your camp to sin by looking upon your nakedness as scripture forbids, but you yourself are sinning by putting a stumbling block in front of your brothers and sisters.”

Thanks for helping me see more clearly now! I think you did a great job in saying it all to! later
    Love AJ,

  2. Hi AJ,

as a 17 yearold i have had to find these scriptures, so that i may fight and defend the true Word of God, wehre as, many would say homosexuality is ok because God does not condone it, but if you read in Romans. Paul says that “men leaving the NATURAL use of the woman, burning in there passions for one another…” see the word there, natural use of the woman, means that for a man to be with a woman is natural and a man with a man or woman with woman is the unatural,

    hope that helps…

  3. Great article! But I now see I’ve wasted my life. Years ago I bought some apple trees, planted them, and used their shade to study mathematics. I completely misunderstood being fruitful and multiplying. Or you have.

Good luck using your modern dictionary and a 200 year old translation of a 1500 year old Greek document of a 2000 year old Hebrew document to determine God’s views on modern fashion. I’m pretty sure that pink shirt I had in 1983 is going to keep me out of heavan!

  4. What pink shirt are you talking about!? ( i am a little lost by what you said)

  5. CTB, if I may, I would absolutely love to elaborate on what this dear soul (MJ) has spoken. MJ, if you are reading what CTB has put through the eyes and ears of Christ, and what the Word says, rather than a judgment, you will see that what he is saying is Biblical and true. There is no problem with a godly young man, or old man wearing a pink shirt. My brother teaches youth, and he has a pink shirt, and is completely separate from the world and submitted to God. BUT…if a man is wearing a pink shirt, with tight, girls’ jeans, walks like a girl, and talks like one, you clearly can see that there are some heart issues that goes beyond him wearing a pink shirt. So, no, wearing a pink shirt with the right heart and desire to please God above all else will not keep you out of heaven. If you feel (you in general) that God does not want you to wear a pink shirt guys…than don’t. Please Him; not the world. But, if you are truly, truly serving Him, and you have a pink shirt, with no conviction of the Holy Spirit, than by all means…wear the shirt. But, the Bible does say that the effeminate will not inherit the Kingdom.
